Clinical Neurophysiology Essay Competition for Medical Students and Junior Doctors to ST2

Do you think and essay competition aimed at medical students and junior doctors, up to CMT2, would help promote some interest in the specialty of clinical neurophysiology?

Recruitment to the specialty has been less than wonderful recently. A common comment from clinical neurophysiologists is that many medics and core medical trainees have simply never heard of the speciality - even those with an interest in physiology and neurosciences generally.

A competition based on an electrophysiological topic but with wider - general medical, ethical, social, etc. - points to discuss may provide the spark that sets the fire and kindles the flames of desire to become a clinical neurophysiologist. Or at least provide some bread and beer money to help a destitute student survive.

If you do think such a competition would help, then what should the essay title be?
